Did it ever cross anyone's mind that maybe Joss Whedon isn't the god that everyone makes him out to be? Why did both Angel and Firefly get cancelled at about the same time? Maybe Mr. Whedon pissed someone off! I love his work but I think he may just be an egomaniac and may have sabotaged his own sucess. Let's get serious, other than comics he hasn't done anything worth talking about in 4 years more or less. Prove me wrong Joss, get Ripper on the air, do a Buffy Feature film. No? Bite me.

Well first, note that sometimes major stars go "4 years more or less" without appearing in a big film. But that doesn't prove that they're egomaniacs who sabbotage their own work. Second, Joss Whedon actually has a movie coming out soon on the big screen.

None of us can really testify Joss is not an egomaniac, because, as far as I know, none of us have worked with him. But the glowing reports of his casts from Buffy and Firefly suggest otherwise. I don't think you can really use ratings as a measure of quality. Plenty of terrible films have achieved great amounts of money at the box office.
