The new 2007 Brilliance BS6 (made in China under the name of Zhonghua) - I guess BS stands for bullshit. The price will be at least $25,000 /€22.000. The test was performed at 40 mph (64 km/h) into a deformable object simulating another car. The head of the driver is supposed to be stopped by
the airbag - and not the dashboard. To open the driver's door afterwards, the test crew had to use a crowbar, a tool that first hand witnesses don't have. It is essential that the door can be opened with little force to aid the passengers. The driver would have suffered severe injuries, maybe woul
d have been dead. The car achieved only one of possible five stars in the EuroNCAP rating. The key for a safe car is to build a strong passenger cell and effective crumple zones that absorb the energy. As you can see in the video the passenger cell collapses with fatal results.

No one is laughing at Japan now. In the 1980's the Koreans decided to import cars into America. Everyone laughed! Korean junk! Just like those cheap "Lucky Goldstar" Televisions! No one is laughing now, of course, and Lucky Goldstar is now LG electronics. So laugh all you want. China will c
atch up....eventually.
